Vidisco's concept that one operator can carry an entire system is a guideline throughout all of the various configurations of the FlashX portable X-ray inspection system. The various configurations are designed to answer specific needs that may arise in various use scenarios. In all configurations, all X-ray inspection system components are packed into one case (or a backpack) with added room for an X-ray source (XRS-3) and wireless accessories. The operation platform concept, which enables convenient operation of the system from within its casing, is also maintained in all the configuration options.
The FlashX system is contained in only one rugged case despite the large area flat panel. All the advantages of portability are maintained for this system. The ruggedized case also serves as a working platform on which the laptop is located in the field for operating the system from a safe distance. All the system components including the FlashX robust, thin & large imager; X-ray source, cables and wireless accessories fit inside the case.
Dimensions: 86 X 56 X 33 cm. l, w, d (33.8 X 22 X 13.3 inches)*
The FlashXBackpack system enables the operator to take a large Imager based portable Vidisco system to an inspection site located anywhere, even in hard terrain with just one backpack containing all the FlashX system components - including the imager, X-ray source and any accessories. The backpack is weather proof and desert- tested, and is supplied with a ruggedized laptop. It is the ideal configuration for anyone who needs to "trek" an X-ray inspection system out there!
The case serves as a working platform on site and can be operated conveniently from any vehicle. The robust FlashX imager is ideal for working in hard field conditions.
Dimensions: 64 X 47 X 33 cm. l, w, d (25.1 X 18.5 X 13 inches)* without straps
This optional configuration enables operators to work with a FlashX portable X-ray inspection system in the field, despite extreme weather conditions. This configuration allows for FlashX operation within a range of -20 oC to +40 oC (degrees Celsius). This option is available in a ruggedized case or backpack.
The option to purchase an additional FlashX flat panel in a separate case is available. All Vidisco systems are “plug & play” and different types of imagers can be connected to one system. The so called “chaser” configuration includes only a FlashX panel**, thus offering the large imaging area and excellent 16 bit image capability of this thin robust panel as an add-on to another Vidisco system.
* System configuration is subject to market changes and manufacturer specifications
**an ICU is required to operate the FlashX panel.
