Vidisco's concept of high mobility is strictly maintained throughout the various configurations of the FoXrayIIe digital portable X-ray inspection system. The different configurations are designed to meet specific needs that may arise in various use scenarios. In every configuration, all system components are packed into a single case (or a backpack) which can also house an X-ray source (XRS-3) and wireless accessories. Larger CCD imagers are available in an additional case/backpack that is also easily transported onsite. The X-ray operation platform concept, which enables convenient operation of the system from within its casing at a safe distance, is also maintained in all the configuration options.
The FoXrayIIe digital portable X-ray system is contained in a single rugged case along with a VCU-10e as the standard package. The ruggedized case also serves as a working platform upon which the laptop is placed in the field for system operation from a safe distance. The 50m cable reel remains inside the case during the entire operation process. All the system components, including X-ray source, cables and wireless accessories, fit inside the case.
When purchasing a system with a larger CCD VCU (16" or 22"), it will be provided in a second case.

The FoXrayIIe Backpack is an especially mobile version for the Vidisco CCD product line.
The backpack has ergonomic features such as support cushions for the back, padded shoulder straps and a waist belt. The FoXrayIIe Backpack carries all the components of the FoXrayIIe mobile X-ray inspection system including the VCU-10e imager, X-ray source and any accessories.
A second backpack is optional for trekking the larger VCU-16e into the field. The FoXrayIIe Backpack system is supplied with a ruggedized laptop, operating as the ideal configuration for anyone who needs to trek an X-ray inspection system in the field.

The option to purchase an additional FoXrayIIe VCU CCD imager in a separate case is available for VCU's in 3 sizes: 10", 16" and 22". A separate Backpack Chaser option is available for VCU-10e and VCU-16e only. All Vidisco systems are "plug & play," enabling the connection of different types of imagers to a given system.
