RayzorX Configuration

The concept that a single operator can carry an entire Vidisco system to any location has guided us through all the various configurations of the RayzorX digital portable X-ray inspection system. The various configurations are designed to meet specific needs in various scenarios of use. In all configurations, the various X-ray system components are packed into a single case (or a backpack) with ample room for an X-ray source (XRS-3) and wireless accessories.

The operation platform concept, which enables convenient operation of the digital X-ray system from within its casing, is also applied in all of the options.

Ruggedized Case (Standard Configuration)

The RayzorX ruggedized case can be trekked to any inspection site, and it can also be operated conveniently from a vehicle. The RayzorX system's control unit (laptop), which is placed on a working platform shelf, and the 50m cable reel are both situated inside the case, and are designed to remain there during operation. The case is built to accommodate wireless and other Vidisco accessories.

Ergonomic Backpack

The weatherproof, desert-tested RayzorX Backpack can be trekked into rough terrain locations and it is ideal for X-ray system operators working under hard conditions in the field. The RayzorX Backpack configuration includes a ruggedized laptop with a sun-readable touch screen. The RayzorX Backpack combines the best of all worlds, including Vidisco's cutting-edge digital radiography technology, the RayzorX super thin imager, the new smart ICU and unmatched versatility in difficult environments.

Civilian Undercover Case

The RayzorX Civilian Undercover Case configuration is designed for inconspicuous transport. Its appearance is similar to that of an ordinary suitcase, leaving the average traveler unaware of its unique content. Carrying the RayzorX system in this innocuous case, special protection organizations can approach any location without arousing unnecessary curiosity. The onsite digital X-ray inspection can then proceed with minimal disturbance, at maximum speed.

Extended Temperature Range

This optional configuration enables operators to work with a RayzorX digital portable X-ray inspection system in the field, regardless of extreme weather conditions. This configuration allows for operation of RayzorX within a range of -20 oC to +40 oC (degrees Celsius). This option is available in a ruggedized case or backpack.

Chaser Configuration

X-ray system operators are offered the option to purchase an additional RayzorX flat panel in a separate small case. All Vidisco systems are “plug & play,” allowing different types of imagers to be connected to a given system. The “chaser” configuration includes a RayzorX panel** in a small case that can be conveniently carried alongside a complete Vidisco system, to serve as an additional panel option.

*System configurations are subject to market changes and manufacturer specifications.
**an ICU is required to operate the RayzorX panel
